Moms from the Heart is an educational brand in the field of cardiology. It was created for women and parents who want to take care of their heart health. Logo and brandbook design was special for me - I accompanied the brand from absolute zero.
The work began with strategic conversations. What should the brand be? How to speak to its target audience? What emotions to evoke? Cardiology is a serious topic, but Moms from the Heart wanted to speak warmly and approachably to their audience. Therefore, the logo had to combine professionalism with lightness - and work equally well on a dark background, a light background, and as an icon for a mobile app.
I have prepared 3 logo proposals to choose from. The selected version combines a light, distinctive typeface with a heart motif woven into the letters. In addition, I developed color variants for each version: navy blue, red and pink. The whole thing was complemented by a pattern and mockups showing the logo in a real context.
Brandbook, on the other hand, collected all the rules in one document. It included colors with codes, fonts and rules for using logos. This gave the client a tool she could use on her own - without asking the designer every time.
Logo and brandbook design was also complemented by marketing consulting. I helped the client rethink brand positioning and visual communication at the launch.
