We have been working with the Humanites Institute for almost five years. During that time we have produced event presentations, executive summaries and industry reports for them. The composition of the Well-Working report, however, was a unique project - and in several respects.
The topic of the report is combining work and family life. The material includes hard data from a survey of 788 employees in Poland - charts, statistics, group comparisons. The challenge was to design a document that retains a business character, but at the same time beams with warmth and good energy, because that's what Well-Working is all about.
We opted for vivid illustration as the leading visual element - families, characters, everyday situations. We surrounded the data with space, instead of stuffing it. A color scheme based on deep red and white gave the report clarity, and typography took care of readability even on slides thick with numbers.
Effect: report composition that works both as a presentation for the event and as a document for distribution. Humanites got the material ready to show both on stage and in a PDF sent to partners.
