Learn the 8 elements of a good Pitch Deck

Here are 8 essential steps that will help you create a good and valuable presentation. Follow them all and your pitch deck will be truly effective. We will be happy to deliver a presentation for you that includes all of these elements! 

Describe the problem that your product or service solves

Make sure that this element answers key questions, i.e.: what problem have we identified? Who is affected by it? What audience problems does your project solve? A properly prepared template saves a lot of time when your staff prepares subsequent materials, and ensures a consistent and professional message to your customers.

Present the team, resources and what you have already accomplished

Brag about your achievements and experience, as well as the people with whom you will implement the project and what unique resources they have. It is worth mentioning here your educational path and the projects you have completed so far.

Identify the market and competition you will face

Knowing the market in which we will be present and the competition is a very important, and most often underestimated, part of the presentation. Investors place great importance on analyzing the market and knowing our market advantages. If this is a topic you can't analyze yourself, it's a good idea to outsource it (check: competitive analysis).

Show how it will develop over time

Demonstrate that once you receive funding you will not rest on your laurels and already have a plan in place to develop, implement novelties and scale your product. You can present this point in the form of a so-called roadmap.

Present your idea

Present your idea, its main concepts and functionalities, and tell how your product or service will be used.

Show the potential, i.e. the audience that might be interested in it

This is where data, research and survey results, as well as any reliable information indicating that your project has a target market, will work perfectly. Always use verified data sources - such include national / European / global databases or reports from companies that are authorities in your industry.

Reveal your business model and financial plan

Show how your project will work in everyday reality, what it will earn and how much. Show what the customer path will look like and how we will build a relationship with our customers and business partners. Currently, the Business Model Canvas is the most popular.

Define clearly what you need from an investor

We must not forget to clearly quantify and time the funds we need to complete our project. Only after obtaining such information is a potential investor able to determine whether he is interested, what he can offer and what he expects in return.
