Artificial intelligence is increasingly boldly entering the world of design and business communications. AI tools for creating presentations tempt with speed, automation and the promise of a „ready slide in minutes.”.

For companies, this sounds like an ideal solution: less time, less work, quick results.

Just whether AI is capable of creating a professional corporate presentation, which realistically supports sales and brand image?

Before getting enthused about automation, it's worth asking a few key questions.

Whether the generated presentation:

  • Will it be compatible with the brandbook?
  • Will it take into account the marketing and sales strategy?
  • Will it maintain consistency of iconography and graphic style?
  • Will it maintain the proper hierarchy of information?
  • Will it be matched with decision makers on the client side?
  • Will it be consistent with the communication on the website and in other materials?

As of today (February 2026), the answer is: unfortunately not yet...

AI can generate structure and aesthetically pleasing slides, but it doesn't understand the business context, sales goals, and most importantly - it won't fully understand the specifics of your brand. What's more - trying to bring an automatically generated presentation to the level of professional B2B communication often takes more time than creating it from scratch in PowerPoint or Google Slides. We know something about this - we tried :)

However, this does not mean that AI does not make sense. Quite the contrary. The key is to use the tools properly at the right stage of the work.

What tasks does AI realistically help with when creating a corporate presentation?

✅ STAGE 1: Structure of the presentation

In B2B projects, AI works best as a support at the conceptual stage.

AI does a great job with:

  • proposing the scope of content in a given presentation based on your initial description of needs,
  • proposing a logical structure for the slides,
  • Organizing chaotic materials (PDFs, email content, working PowerPoint, etc.).
  • generating narrative (storyline) proposals.

This is a good starting point - especially when the input materials are scattered, and we want to quickly create an initial information architecture for each slide.

✅ STEP 2: Create content for slides

This is the absolute basis for working with AI today - both in web design and in creating corporate presentations. It is at this stage that the time savings are most noticeable.

Artificial intelligence works especially well when we need to quickly organize content and give it a clear form. It can effectively support the process by:

  • Creating content for slides from scratch, based on raw materials,
  • Shortening overly elaborate descriptions without losing the point,
  • Simplifying technical, hermetic language,
  • Organizing arguments into logical, readable points.

This makes it much quicker to move from information chaos to a structured presentation outline - which will be a great base for graphic design.

❌ STAGE 3: Graphic Design

Popular AI applications for creating presentations, such as Beautiful.ai, Tome or other generators, work with ready-made diagrams and automated layouts.

And this is where the limitation comes in.

The problem is that such tools:

  • are not able to replicate your brandbook in 100% - colors and fonts alone are definitely not enough to be consistent with the brand style,
  • don't design slides for real-life sales calls and decision-making,
  • do not create dedicated graphics to support a specific message, but use universal schemes from their template base.

The result is a presentation that is visually correct, but lacks strategic alignment.

Therefore, the best results come from a combination of technology and experience AI can speed up the conceptual stage and organize the content. However, it is only the presentation designer who can translate the brand strategy into consciously designed visual communication.

Presentation Designer:

  • creates material that is fully consistent with the brandbook (not only in terms of fonts and colors, but also in terms of brand communication style),
  • selects consistent photos, icons and illustrations,
  • designs infographics, diagrams and charts tailored to a specific message,
  • Ensures consistency with other marketing materials (brochures, website, etc.),
  • builds A logical slide structure that realistically supports sales - and not just look aesthetically pleasing.

In ready-made generators, very often it is the content that is matched to the layout. In professional design, we do the opposite. The goal of the graphic designer is to emphasize, with the help of visual elements, the message from the slide and realize the business goal.

And it is this difference that determines the effectiveness of presentations in a B2B environment.

✅ STEP 4: Optimize existing slides.

At the final stage of creating a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation, artificial intelligence can act as an additional consultant - a specialist in copywriting, marketing or sales.

In practice, this means that we can add print screens of the slides and analyze each of them together with AI for communication effectiveness.

It is then worth asking specific questions:

  • What can be improved to increase the readability and clarity of the message?
  • Does the graphics chip support the most important message?
  • what icon or visual element can be added to reinforce the meaning of the content? - ask for inspiration and suggestions
  • Is the information presented in the simplest way possible?
  • Is the headline strong and salesy enough? What can it be replaced with?
  • and many others

With this approach, AI becomes a tool for optimization - it helps look at the slide from a distance and pick up elements that can be simplified, enhanced or redesigned.

The final decision still rests with the designer, but the correction process is faster, more structured and based on informed analysis of the message.

✅ STEP 5: Translation of the presentation into other languages.

If the company presentation is to be used in foreign markets, AI can significantly speed up the process of translating the content. To the AI chat you use (GPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) - add the presentation in PDF and request a translation into the language of your choice.

It is worth remembering, however, that the automatic translation should be reviewed for industry terminology and brand tone.

AI can support the process of creating presentations, but it can't do it alone. At least for today - February 2026.

Artificial intelligence can significantly speed up your work, help you organize your content and look at your slides from a different perspective. However, it will not do all the work for you. It won't make informed design decisions, it won't understand the context of your business, and it won't design your presentation to realistically support sales.

A good graphic designer still combines strategy, structure and aesthetics into a cohesive whole. And it is this element that determines the quality of the final result.
